Volunteer Opportunities
Have a few hours to spare and want to help River City Community Animal Hospital?
RCCAH is looking for a few good volunteers to help with spay days and other projects.
Volunteer Positions Available:
Spay Day Registration
Are you a people person? We are looking for a volunteer to help check patients in, and educate clients on RCCAH polices and general pet care. Spay day registration starts at 8 am and is usually completed by 10am so, if you’re an early morning person and have 2 hours to spare Tuesday – Thursday we could really use your help.
Patient Recovery Volunteer
RCCAH is not your typical large volume spay neuter clinic. We provide individualized patient care and we are currently looking for a volunteer to help provide a little TLC to our surgery patients. If you want to snuggle and whisper encouraging word to our patients then this may be the perfect opportunity for you to help.
Hours available:
Tuesday through Thursday
First Shift – 12pm – 2pm
Second Shift – 2pm – 4pm
Patient Discharge
Patient Discharge can be pretty hectic especially when we have 30 patients going home. If you love to organize and are a people person, we need help in the evening making sure we have our clients sign our discharge sheet and help getting our patients safety loaded into their cars. Patient discharge usually starts around 5:30 and ends around 6:30, depending on the number of patients, so if you have an hour to spare in the evenings Tuesday through Thursday we would love to have your help.
